We have an excellent opportunity for a Web Designer that will play a key role in design, development and maintenance of Lutron's web site. While working closely with Lutron’s marketing leaders you will interface across all business units servicing multiple in-house clients. You will be responsible for enhancing Lutron’s web site, expanding its capabilities and incorporating the latest web design concepts.

| Responsibilities |
Responsibilities:
· Create design prototypes, user interfaces, site navigation, and layout content for Lutron.com, Lutronstore.com and other websites
· Work with the technical and marketing teams on the design and implementation of new websites
· Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested by internal customers
· Provide training on maintenance and update procedures to groups who choose to take charge of their own websites
· Interface effectively with all levels and functional areas of Lutron including engineering and marketing

| Qualifications |
Qualifications:
· Technical Bachelors degree or other discipline related to the primary responsibilities and two to four years of experience in web page creation
· Advanced knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, and of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXPress and Illustrator with formal training an asset
· Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, .NET and dynamic HTML; experience with Macromedia Flash
· Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
· Experience working with content management systems required; Ektron CMS400 Content Management System preferred
· Attention to detail, customer-service orientation and creativity in problem-solving
· Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design and experience with web database solutions definite assets
· Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effe ctively with a team or as an individual performer
